To the doctor...

I forgot this pretty lady had a checkup today. I will be back a little later with our home ec update and laundry pictures. I know, I know I keep saying that, but this time I promise... I think!

For your enjoyment here are some links to blogposts I found quiet enjoyable this weekend.

The First Year At Home

Hospitality Can Revive the Heart

Chair Make Over

Of course there are more, but thats all I have time for. See you later this afternoon!

Be Blessed!

P.S. I seem to be updating my blogroll every day. Lots of good stuff out there!

  1. Hi Julie! Thank you for visiting my blog...I wanted to let you know that
I had the same problem a year or so back with my squash and pumpkins. One or two blooms, but never any veggies growing. I have learned that you need to plant other flowering plants around them to encourage pollination. Plant in the squash family produce a few blooms compared to other plants, and they only stay open for just a bit. Bees have to visit somewhere around 15 times to properly pollinate them to grow. Squash plants just do not have the "gusto" to have that happen enough by themselves. Try planting marigolds, or zinnias around and see if that helps!
