Wednesday's Schedule

Wednesday looks a lot like Monday except for in the evening. We do Science in the evenings together as a family on Tuesday and Thursday and History together on Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday. We also have family read aloud time on Tuesday - Friday. The two older girls read a book or a part of a book to the family, Tamara and Adrian get to "read" a book also. Mommy reads and daddy reads. Right now I am reading Ten Peas In A Pod. A great book about a family that traveled all over America singing and reciting the Bible. Its very inspirational. Daddy has not picked out his book yet as this is something we are just starting. It makes for a lot of sitting so Im thinking of letting the kids draw and color scenes from the different stories during this time. But we have not decided for sure yet.
We followed this pretty well on Wednesday. We got a late start because I woke up not feeling well, but the day picked up steam and we chugged right along. Repeat after me, "We are not a slave to our schedules!"

2:00 preschool with younger children, Finish up school work Karly and Kelsie
2:30 computer time mommy, rest others
3:00 rest all
4:00 Latin/Bible
4:30 PM chores
5:00 start dinner
5:30 Last cleanup
6:00 dinner
6:45 get history ready while kids handle dinner cleanup
7:00 history
8:00 family read aloud
8:30 bible
9:00 kids bed routine
9:15 kids bed/adult Bible
9:30 bible
10:00 comp time
10:30 bedtime routine
