A Morning Walk

Im starting our morning walk again this week. We will go after all morning chores are done. When we come home all hot and Florida glistening, we will have some water and do our Bible reading.
We left this morning eager and ready, by the time we were done all we wanted was a glass of water and some air conditioning. It was fun though. We saw worms sunning themselves all over the sidewalk. The girls saw a lot of lizards though we could not catch any, they were too quick. I pointed out flowers and colors to the baby. By the end of the walk he was pointing to flowers and saying "foo, foo" which in my opinion means "flower". The most exciting find of all was a smooshed frog being carried away by ants. We were able to talk about the verses in Proverbs, Proverbs 6:6 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:, and also Proverbs 30:25 The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer;
The children enjoyed hearing how ants were referred to in the Bible as hard workers and wise.
I love walking with my children and seeing the world through their eyes.
Be Blessed.
