You're Invisible Man!
by Ralph Ellison
Most of your life, people have either ignored you or told you that you
were wrong. You've been duped, mistreated, misled, and neglected. Maybe it was because
of your race, or some other uniqueness that people were quick to condemn, but now you
just want to crawl into a hole and disappear. After all, nobody knows your name. But
you just might speak for everyone.

ReplyDeleteYou're Confessions!
by St. Augustine
You're a sinner, you're a saint, you do not feel ashamed. Well, you might feel a little ashamed of your past, but it did such a good job of teaching you what not to do. Now you've become a devout Christian and have spent more time ruminating on the world to come rather than worldly pleasures. Your realizations and ability to change will bring reverence upon you despite your hedonistic transgressions. Florida will honor you most in the end.
This is actually a book on my "to read" list ... and the part at the end about Florida is just freaky lol
Lady4Jesus..you will find that Confessions is an awesome, truly life changing book. I really hope you enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteAs for my book...You're A Theory of Justice!
by John Rawls
In the beginning, you lived in a town. The town had many problems! Rather than moving, you decided to come up with the idea for the best town ever. Going all the way back to the original position, you created the idea for the best town ever! Lo and behold, the best town ever looked almost identical to the town you lived in. You decided to stay in the town. Now you resent people mistaking your refined thought experiments for "the wall of stupidity" in high school debate rounds.
I was 'Dune' or 'Water ship down' (I couldn't decide on one of the questions and those are the two I got depending on what I chose. Monnica was Lolita but was embarrassed by that she she played around till she got something else.
