  1. Hey, Haven't talked to you in a LOOONNNNGGGG but I read you're blog all the time and thought since you asked for comments on this I would.

My thoughts on the video are that while I agree with most of everything said in the video he seemed hesitant for his girls to go to college. I can understand the desire not to send them off to a secular college that's more about the party then the learning... I feel that he doesn't allow that women can have a job outside of the home. You know that my desire forever was to be a stay at home mom. But as I get older I wonder if that will happen. So, what if my parents hadn't wanted me to go out and get a job, or go to school? Where would I be without a husband. Also, what happens to those same girls who lose their husband early. If they don't have a work history or an education it's going to be very hard to take care of their families.

But overall, I think that it's a beautiful way of having a family. If God blesses you with children, great. The more the merrier. LOL.

  2. Hello Julie! I have been peeking at your blog for a little bit ... and I do love it...you very much encourage me. About the video. I loved it. I am a Mama of 3, and sadly had my tubes tied because of how my doctor pressured me. I "feel" more. And I know God is leading my family into a season of taking care of wee ones that I haven't birthed: which will be a JOY!

Even though my BeLoved is not saved yet; I know that God has HUGE plans for him. My BeLoved is the head of this house! When I see men of integrity...I cry out for that in my own life, and pray for my sweetie even harder.

I do somewhat agree with Wendi. The fear of our girls maybe not finding a suitable mate; her mate dying.....it is such a TRUST issue!! And I believe stems from MY own decade within the feminist movement. So, even though I am "concerned" it is an issue that I leave with God. My oldest daughter is in the Army, and I struggle with that big time!! I am saddened. My 12 yr. old daughter: well...I am making sure that she has a deep love for the beautiful woman that God made her to be: A Mother and a Daughter of the King.

    Have a lovely day!!

  3. Hey Julie!!

I liked the video. I think it is a great way to raise your family. I wish more people in my church felt that way, but it isn't really talked about.

I hope you are well! I love hearing about your family!!

    Take care,
    Leigh
