A Sunday post?

I try not to post on Sunday, but I read something this morning that made me stop and think. I know that most conservative Christians are at a stalemate with the whole McCain/Palin thing. I am resigning myself to voting for this ticket, but I still have a few months to express my views. :)
Here though, is an excellent article on the book of Judges and everyones new hero Deborah.
Read and let me know your thoughts. I am very interested. I am not always right. I have to stand for what I believe is right. If I have good scriptural evidence I can be persuaded to accept a new idea.
That being said, I can not be happy about the McCain/Palin ticket. Someone mentioned that God must have ordained her to be on the ticket. Sure, but then we have to concede that God must have ordained Barak Obama to be on the ticket as well, no? I think God knew perfectly well who was going to be on the ticket. I just accept God as big like that. :)
In the end, God is in control. I have prayed and prayed and asked him to show me if I am being too stubborn or hard headed about this whole thing. I have only spoken up briefly with some at church about what I think of the whole issue. Mostly, I stay quiet and listen. Maybe this is wrong. My friends know that I don't like a woman in this office. That's pretty much all I say.
Anyways, this was going to be a short post. LOL.

Can I just say that I was so amazed at how he stood up for the Bible. I have seen Christian leaders get on these programs who would backpeddle and pansy out. Not VB! He rocked.
And please tell me what kind of argument was Ms. Feinberg trying to make with Ephesians 5? It was a little weird to me.
One day I will meet Mr. Baucham and ask him if I can give him a hug. I hope he says yes! :)

Just thought I would put that out there.

Of course I wont be voting for anyone who believes that the UN Rights of A Child Act should be taken on by the United States either. (Senator Clinton)

In all actuality, I will vote the way my husband votes. I can say with complete confidence that my husband will not vote for either one of the above mentioned people.
For those shaking their heads at me right now, I can also say with complete confidence that if either one of the above mentioned are actually elected we will respect them. We might disagree with them. We might be vocal in our disagreement, but when it all comes down to it you will not see us calling them names or going about the country and world disrespecting them. Its not classy and in my opinion its just plain rude. My children call President Bush, President Bush. Thats what we are teaching them. If (heaven help us) one day we have to utter the words President Obama or President Clinton we will do so.
But anyways. Thats my input into the primaries. If I get political it will only be every now and then.
Im trying to get hubby to start a blog and fill it with his political expertise. Then I could just link to him often. LOL

I wish you could read sarcasm so you would know what I truly thought of this. I live in Florida and this is not the first time the Democratic party has shown its childishness. Anyone remember the 2000 election. "Well, I did not read the ballot right so my vote should not count and I should get to vote again.....a month later!!" or my favorite "There were just too many people on the ballott and I got confused!" Some days I think we should go back to literacy tests to discern the right to vote. And no that remark does not mean I am prejudiced it just means Im fed up with the whining mentality of this society. My 9 year old has problems following directions, but I sure dont let her use that as an excuse. If she messes up because she did not follow directions then she has to spend her free time fixing whatever she messed up or she would just accept that she made a mistake in the voting process and move on with her life. People are still complaing about this. WHINERS!
My favorite part is they can bash the President of the United States of America all day long calling him all sorts of names. They can even say such things as, "Oh, he is not my president!" Yes this is something a congresswoman here in Florida said. But let him misspeak all the while laying on this lavish display of praise for the first female speaker of the house (YUCK) and lower lips come out, big feet stamp, and the temper tantrums start.
WHATEVER!


Ok thats my vent for this post. Sorry to go all political, but this just disgusted me.
